Great for newcomers, could break the bank for current nano owners
Pros: The 3rd gen iPod nano is a great product, and once again, the smallest of its kind. It now supports video, allowing you to watch your favorite TV shows and movies on the go, and it has a bigger and brighter screen than its 1st and 2nd gen predecessors. Additional functionality is provided for Nike+ users who wish to use their nanos on the run.

Cons: While the upgraded version of the nano does have its perks, existing owners of 1st or 2nd gen nanos may be hesitant to upgrade. With a radically new design, this means all new accessories have to be purchased. As everyone knows, the cases still aren't immune to getting the occasional scratch, so you'll want some kind of protection. As a 2nd gen owner myself, this means a new case and new armband so I can take it along on runs. Apple continues to be forward-looking and inventive, but is it really worth the money to upgrade?

Overall, the new nano is a beautiful product, and it solves the issue for those who want to be able to watch video, but still aren't ready to shell out the big bucks for an iPod Touch. If you enjoy being active and don't mind compromising on hard drive space (or flash storage in this case), then the new nano is for you. Otherwise, why not spend a few more bucks and look at the iPod classic instead?

iPod Nano-8gB-Black-Battery won't charge

I bought this iPod Nano 8 GB Black last month. Ever since I bought this, I have had problem charging the unit. Even though the battery icon shows that it is only half-charged, when I plug the unit either to a USB port in the computer or to the battery charger (bought separately), the unit still says "Charged." And it won't charge at all. After I juggle with resetting the unit by pressing together the menu and the middle button , even then it won't charge. And I have the latest version of iTunes installed. Something is seriously with the battery charging with this nano. Buyers beware. This is not working all right.
This is my 5th iPod, and every one of them died after a few months. I have decided not to go near Apple iPods anymore.

Apple iPod nano 8 GB Green (3rd Generation) I really like this iPod because it can hold alot of stuff! I like the sleek design and the fact that it is metal is nice. I am still learning how to download different things on it which is a challenge I look foward to. I would recommend this product to others.
